Sawtooth Analytics
Our mission:
Sawtooth Analytics provides high-level consulting and analytical services to Sawtooth Software
customers. We can assist you when your needs exceed the scope of the
free technical support we offer with our software systems.
Our aim is to be a resource, not a source of competition, to Sawtooth Software users. We can train you
to perform the same or similar procedures without our help
in a future project--no secrets or black boxes! If the need arises, we can also arrange custom
modifications of our software systems.
Examples of project work we do:
- Assisting with a difficult conjoint/choice analysis study design
- Providing a customized software solution for a conjoint/choice interview that exceeds the
capabilities of our off-the-shelf systems
- Re-estimating ACA utilities if incorrect a priori order settings were specified
- Designing holdout choice tasks for tuning ACA utilities to predict choices and re-weighting the importance of price
- Estimating ratings-based CVA conjoint utilities using HB-Reg (hierarchical
Bayes Regression)
- Developing individual-level regression models using HB-Reg for customer satisfaction
or other data sets involving a continuous dependent variable
- Developing volumetric simulators based on CBC allocation data
- Re-formatting CBC data within .CHO or .CHS files to permit different model specifications,
including alternative-specific effects, or true continuous linear terms
- Designing and analyzing paired comparison experiments
Types of work we do NOT do:
- General questionnaire writing or programming (using Ci3, CiW)
- Full-service market research (we assist Sawtooth Software users only with their projects)
- Travel, on-site presentations
- Finding sources of sample
- Managing/arranging fieldwork
