Dominik Englisch

Dominik Englisch is a PhD candidate and research associate at zeb.business school at Steinbeis-University in Germany. The intention of his research project is to get a deeper understanding of how investors in Germany make their investment choices in sustainable finance investments with special focus on their utility functions and link to decision theory in finance. In order to empirically analyze the investors’ utility functions, a conjoint analysis in an online or laboratory setting shall be elaborated using sawtooth software. The idea to this research project came up on current plans of the EU commission to foster growth in sustainable finance in 2018.

Prior to his research project Dominik received a Master of Science degree in finance at Steinbeis-University and worked as a senior consultant at zeb.rolfes.schierenbeck.associates GmbH. Furthermore he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Hochschule der Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe in Bonn and is an educated banking-professional.
