The area of research in his PhD includes looking on how rural and remote dwellers are facing challenging in access to and use of healthcare services. After making proper review and secondary data analysis, discrete choice experiment will be used to get further insight and list down access and utilization preferences of mental healthcare services by young people in rural and remote areas of Australia. This is due to fact that literature revealed evidence of disparities in healthcare services availability, access to and use between rural and remote in comparison to urban areas. Whereby, rural and remote dwellers are in the disadvantage side. The results of discrete choice experiment will be therefore useful in improving mental health services offered by headspace centers in rural and remote areas of Australia.
