As his main interest of supplying uninterrupted health commodities for the community and for that purpose, he strongly believes that strengthening the health supply chain workforce management, improve the health supply chain management and improve the availability of health commodities. Due to this, his research is focusing on improving the management of the health workforce. Specifically to enhance the retention of experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Hence, these professionals have the main role in the management of health commodities.  In Ethiopia, there is a high attrition rate of these professionals from the Ethiopian pharmaceutical supply agency and the 2019s study conducted in the agency show that 94% of the professionals have the intention to leave the agency. However, there is no study that show quantitatively, why these professionals leave the agency and their attributes towards different jobs. The main aim of his study is quantitatively identifying the main attributes for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians for job choice. The research question will be developed by conducting focused group discussions with both cadres who are working Ethiopian pharmaceutical supply chain agency to know their preferences for different job attributes. His study results used for policymakers to develop retention strategies for these professionals.
