Petrit Ademi

Petrit is a Doctoral Researcher and Teaching Associate in the Research Network Digitalization at Justus Liebig University Giessen in Germany. He obtained his Master's degree in Strategic Management from Lancaster University Management School in the United Kingdom, and received his Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart in Germany. His research focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation in the digital age.

The emergence of the digital age is posing threats on companies with traditional business models, while empowering the growth of new entrepreneurial ventures. To provide a better understanding on the role of digital technologies in entrepreneurial ecosystems, Petrit examines how entrepreneurs and managers value digital technologies in their decision-making processes. Petrit uses value-based and choice-based conjoint analysis to disentangle criteria that actors with different goals and background experiences use in their evaluation of digital technologies. Petrit’s research helps companies and entrepreneurs in better understanding the potential of digital technologies that arises from their design and deployment contexts.
