Tessa Concepcion

Tessa Concepcion is a Global Health Implementation Science PhD student at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on the implementation of integrated maternal and HIV prevention services for pregnant and postpartum women in sub-Saharan Africa and other low-resource, high-need settings. Her dissertation research aims to identify pregnant/postpartum women's preferences for novel PrEP agents and identify early process indicators for implementing these options in maternal and child health systems. Tessa works closely with partners in Kisumu and Nairobi (Kenya), and Seattle (USA).
