Correct single digit level values to specify in CBC HB Linear coding

For linear coding in LightHouse Studio CBC HB - the Help documentation says that level values should be specified in the magnitude of about single digits to lead to quick and proper convergence. What is the best way to express these values for attributes like below that are not single digits?

Price (4 levels: $27,550, $28,500, $29,000, $30,000). Should level values for linear HB estimation be 27.55, 28.5, 29, 30 or 2.755, 2.850, 2.9, 3?

Fuel economy (4 level: 21 mpg, 24 mpg, 27 mpg, 30 mpg). Should this be 2.1, 2.4, 2.7, 3?

Thank you.

You can specify as 2.7550, 2.8500, 2.9000, 3.0000 for price.  And fuel economy as you have shown.
