Is it possible to use minus prices in the summed price function of ACBC?

We want to use the summed price function an ACBC study.

The test person should have the opportunity to "downgrade" the standard level of some attributes.

To make it more realistic we would like to make these with minus prices on the basic price.

Is that possible or is there some conflict with any calculations?

Please test it out with a few real respondents and look closely at the utility results to see if it all seems to make sense.  I believe it should indeed work...except you will only have the Linear and the Piecewise price functions options available to you during analysis.  The loglinear function, which requires taking the natural log of the prices shown to respondents, would not mathmatically work and the software would give you an error message.
