Question Format
Question and Task Width (in Pixels)
This controls how wide the conjoint tasks appear on the screen. We generally suggest you use no wider than about 600 pixels, because some people may be using 640 x 480 pixel screen resolution. If you know that the screens used to view the questionnaire will all be set to higher resolutions, you may decide to enter a larger value.
Cell Padding (in Pixels)
This controls how much white space is added between the attribute level text, and separating the attribute text from the immediate concept border.
Level Border (in Pixels)
You can add grid lines between all attribute levels in your product concepts by specifying a pixel width. A typical width to specify would be between 2 and 5 pixels.
CVA Question Colors
Alternating Concept Colors
A "concept" refers to a product or service alternative shown on the screen. It is often useful to use different background colors to unify the product concepts and distinguish between them. The colors can be directly specified as their RRGGBB color codes, or by using the Change... button, which provides a color picker.
Task Background Color
This color controls the color of the background used in the CVA task header, footer, and the area directly behind the product concepts.
Task Alignment
Controls the position of the task on the screen, whether left, center, or right.
Pairwise Comparison Input
Click the Specify Anchor Text... button to specify the text to show under the values on the scale. Click the paintbrush icon to format the text.
