Utility Summary Report:
OVERVIEW:
The top has a ribbon style control with a number of options (enumerated below).
The main window has two sections.
On the Left is an Excel style report with multiple tabs across the bottom.
On the Right is a visual representation of the data called a Graph Panel. This display can be altered, hidden, and saved with controls in the Graph Panel Options section of the ribbon control.
There is a draggable bar between the Excel style report and the Graph Panel that allows you to change how much screen real estate each of those objects has.
ACTIONS:
When you have changed settings anywhere in this ribbon, you'll need to click Refresh to see the impact of those changes.
Save to Excel allows you to save the displayed Utilities and Histogram Data (if included) to an Excel file that you can then share with other people.
SEGMENTATION:
This is where you select which Segments can be displayed in the Graph Panel Options Segment drop-down, and which are included specifically as columns in the Excel style output.
OPTIONS:
Scaling:
Choose between Zero-Centered Differences and Raw utility displays. Hovering over the information icon gives the following information:
Zero-Centered Differences - Zero-Centered Differences scaling puts the raw utilities on a normalized scale, where for each respondent the utilities are zero-centered within each attribute and the sum of the differences between best and worst utilities across attributes is equal to the number of attributes times 100.
Raw - Raw Utilities are the original scores as output by the utility estimation method.
Precision:
Choose the number of decimal places used in displaying utilities.
Display importances checkbox:
Include or don't include Importances in the report output.
HISTOGRAMS:
Bin Selection and Bin width/count:
Bins are groupings of data that often falls into a range. For example, if you were reporting by age, Bins could include 18-30, 31-40, 41-50, and 51-65.
When Fixed Width is selected for the Bins, enter a number defining the widths of Bins.
When Fixed Count is selected for the Bins, enter a number specifying the number of Bins to use.
When Automatic is selected for the Bins, this disappears.
GRAPH PANEL OPTIONS:

Histograms give another idea of how the distribution (of what specifically) looks. You can choose a Level from the selected Attribute when choosing Histograms for your Graph type.

You may select a Level from the selected Attribute when the Graph type is Histogram.
Save to Image button:
Allows you to Save the graph image on the right side (only shown if Show Graph is toggled on) to a .png file somewhere on your local file system.
