Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pay monthly?

We only sell annual subscriptions. Please contact us if you have any concerns about the length of our subscriptions.

Can I transfer the license to another team member?

Each user of the license should have their own individual Sawtooth account. Account information cannot be shared but the administrator of the license can change which Sawtooth account is marked as a user. Research teams should consider our 5 or 10+ user subscriptions.

Do you offer academic discounts or reseller commissions?

Discounts are available to students or educators using the software for non-commercial use (see Academic Pricing). Reseller discounts or sales commissions are not available.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can pay for our software and services with a check, an automated clearing house (ACH) direct payment, or a wire transfer. If your invoice is less than $13,000 USD, you may also pay with a credit card.

Can I change my plan?

You can upgrade your license at any point during the subscription. If you have any questions on what subscription would best fit your needs or concerning our renewals, please feel free to contact us.

How good is your free technical support?

Our problem-solving personnel will likely exceed your expectations. Our expert support team members not only answer technical questions about the software, but they can also give meaningful advice and point you in the right direction on your research.

Is training included with the purchase of a subscription?

Our technical support would be happy to help you get started on the software. We also have free resources on our website such as webinars, technical papers, and conference proceedings that you can pick and choose from. While not included in the subscription cost, attending workshops and the Sawtooth Software conference is a great place to learn the methodology and software.

What if I would rather have someone do the programming or analytics for me?

We have a highly-trained analytics team that is available for hire. Please contact them at analytics@sawtoothsoftware.com to discuss your project or the in-depth assistance you may need for your own research.
