To disable the FIPS setting, Click on your Start menu and choose the Run option. Type gpedit.msc and hit enter. This will start the Local Policy editor. Using the tree view on the left under Computer Configuration, navigate to Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options. Find the setting that says System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing. Right click and select Properties and choose the radio button to disable this setting. A screenshot is below.
