Ann Lévesque

Ann Lévesque is a PhD student at the University of Quebec Outaouais (UQO), Canada. She is interested in the role of public opinion in environmental governance.

Her project aims to define different scenarios in intensive agricultural environments near ecologically sensitive areas in order to set up payment mechanisms for ecosystem services (PES). To support the development and assessment of scenarios, Ann will use a theoretical framework from the literature on ecosystem services and environmental justice to establish the criteria and indicators for the development of a PES in southern Quebec.

For one of her thesis chapters, she will use CBC analysis to validate various possible governance scenarios with the public and assess the willingness to pay to financially support the establishment of PES in agricultural settings.
