Caroline Wang

Caroline Wang's research focuses on sustainability, product innovation, and information disclosure. Her work in sustainability investigates whether, how, and why sustainable labeling influences consumer purchases. In product innovation, she studies how firms innovate products by reformulating ingredients and the impact on product quality and consumer demand. Using online experiments, econometric analysis, behavioral models, and large-scale data, her work aims to guide effective information labeling policies and product innovation practices. 

Caroline Wang is a Ph.D. candidate in marketing at Kellogg, Northwestern University. She holds a dual Master’s degree in Applied Economics and Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
