Elga Theresia

Elga Theresia is a master’s student at BINUS University, currently pursuing a degree in Information System Management. She has a strong interest in product management and user experience for artificial intelligence in mental health services. 

For her research, she aims to design the user experience which can integrate the expertise and wisdom of human mental health professionals with artificial intelligence in order to provide efficient mental health service for youth (high school and university students). Therefore, the youth mental health needs can be better addressed, and the mental health professionals can focus on caring for their clients. To achieve this goal, she is conducting several phases of research, such as literature review,  in-depth interviews, and quantitative survey which includes Choice-based Conjoint (CBC). With CBC, she will validate the most preferred scenario of AI integration in mental health counseling session. Due to the sensitive nature of mental health issues, it is essential to capture the users’ voices to develop the appropriate AI-powered solution.
