Irena Dukovska is a PhD student at the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She holds a BSc. degree in electrical power engineering and a double MSc. degree in sustainable energy technology and energy engineering. In her PhD, she focuses on novel consumer-centric electricity markets and their interactions with other actors in the power system.
The emergence of consumer-centric electricity markets, such as peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading requires a re-evaluation of electricity as a product with only a price dimension. The aim of this research project is to evaluate what other factors are relevant for consumers, through conducting a choice-based conjoint analysis. The results of the study will enable the design of markets that include these factors as well as the consumer's attitudes to them accordingly.
