Irmina Svambare

Irmina Švambarė is a Master’s student in Business Sustainability Management at ISM University of Management and Economics, where she explores the intersection of climate transition planning and sustainable corporate strategy. Alongside her studies, she works in ESG risk management, which provides her with practical insights into how companies approach sustainability challenges in real-world contexts.

Her master’s thesis investigates how executives evaluate and select among alternative decision-support solutions: human, AI-based, or hybrid, in the context of corporate climate transition planning. Using choice-based conjoint analysis with the Sawtooth Software platform, her research seeks to uncover the trade-offs executives are willing to make between attributes such as emissions certainty, stakeholder integration, explainability, and cost. By combining conceptual work on transition pathways with empirical evidence on executive preferences, Irmina’s research aims to inform the design of more effective decision-support tools that can accelerate climate transition strategies, enhance resilience, and support innovative business models for sustainability.
