Johanna Heiler is currently enrolled as a Management Master student at the University of Mannheim. She obtained her bachelor's degree at the Business School Pforzheim. Johanna is highly interested in current transformations and how companies can proactively incorporate change into their strategy. In her Bachelor thesis, she was analyzing the effects of autonomous and electric vehicles on the German automotive supplier industry. Currently, she is writing her Master thesis at the Chair of Organization and Innovation about digital leadership competencies.

Johanna's research investigates whether generational differences affect the perceived importance of digital leadership competencies. Thereby, she aims to identify whether raters belonging to Generation X value leadership competencies differently than raters from Generation Z. By measuring the proximity of a generation's perceptions to the ideal digital leadership competencies, this study will reveal which cohort chooses the more effective leader in a digital environment.
