Lauren Violette is a PhD candidate in the Department of Epidemiology and a Research Consultant in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington. She earned her MPH in 2015 from The George Washington University.
Lauren's dissertation research focuses on preferences for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) modalities and delivery models among populations disproportionately impacted by HIV in Washington. The goal of her work is to better target implementation of HIV prevention services, inform population-specific delivery of PrEP, and drive pipeline development of newer PrEP formulations and modalities.
