For his dissertation, he aims to investigate older adults’ preferences for an ideal HT-enabled Health Enhancing Physical Activity program via mixed reality systems (metaverse) based on several attributes and levels. The study will also examine the impact of an HT-HEPA program on physical performance, cognitive function, and quality of life among young older adults in selected urban ‘senior centers’ in the Philippines. Behavioral intention and models for technology use will also be investigated along with qualitatively exploration of key informants’ experiences in several aspects (acceptability, barriers, and facilitators) of the intervention.
