Nele Bockisch is a Master's student of Business Administration at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. After her bachelor's degree in Hanover, Germany, she moved to Zurich to further her professional and personal development. Now, she is conducting research at the Chair for Marketing and Market Research with a focus on sustainable food consumption.
The main objective of Nele's research is to investigate how consumers can be encouraged to make more sustainable food choices in the future. Within the research, particular barriers consumers face in choosing local, in-season food products will be identified with a contextual focus on Switzerland. The research aims to find solutions to overcome these barriers and promote local, in-season food consumption. Using the Sawtooth software, Nele plans to test a marketing intervention using a choice-based conjoint methodology.
