Robin Friedrich is a research assistant and Ph.D. candidate at the Chair of Marketing at Friedrich-Alexander-Unversity Erlangen-Nuremberg. Prior to this, he received his B.Eng. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering with foci on international technical sales and strategic management.
The aim of the research project, for which a Choice-Based Conjoint analysis will be used, is to generate further knowledge about Internet of Things (IoT) systems and their corresponding success factors. With the findings from the conjoint analysis and further empirical studies, managers will have a practical guide for the development of new IoT systems that should provide them with relevant insights on the importance of the related characteristics.
