Siri Seterelv is a PhD student at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo, where she focuses her research on the implementability of international clinical practice guidelines. Her work addresses how these guidelines can better meet local needs, which is essential for improving patient care and reducing redundant efforts in healthcare.
Siri's study aims to guide the selection of strategies to improve guideline implementability. To achieve this, she will conduct a Delphi study with international experts, utilizing Sawtooth Software for best/worst scaling. This approach will enable her to rank various strategies based on how resource-intensive the experts perceive them to be and how helpful they consider these strategies for enhancing guideline implementability.
By prioritizing methods that improve resource-effectiveness, her work aims to inform future interventions that support healthcare professionals in effectively implementing international guidelines, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes.
