Vilius Kontrimas

Vilius Kontrimas received MSc in Informatics in 2003 from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU, Kaunas, Lithuania), MSc in Management and Administration in 2005 from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU, Vilnius, Lithuania), MSc in Civil Engineering in 2008 from VGTU (Lithuania) and Ph.D. in Informatics in 2009 from KTU (Lithuania), expected Master of Management in 2021 from ISM University of Management and Economics (Vilnius, Lithuania) and BI Norwegian Business School (Oslo, Norway).

Vilius has used the Sawtooth Grant for his Master Thesis on the topic "Impact of perceived business model on ERP choice." The goal of this master thesis is to estimate how the perceived business model of ERP producer impacts ERP choice by a customer.

The main finding in the research was that the perceived fully multisided platform business model of ERP producers is the most preferred business model of a customer. Switching into this business model can create enormous benefits to ERP producers by increasing their products’ share of preferences and price levels.
