To print your survey go to "Questions" and click on the printer icon.  You then have the option to show question names or variable names on the questions.  This can help with identifying the questions or question input.

 

Export Survey to PDF

 

To export your survey to a PDF file click on the printer icon.  When the print dialog appears change the printer to "Save as PDF".  Make sure to also check the option to "Include Background Graphics".  You might also consider removing headers and footers etc.  These options are different depending on the web browser that you are using.  See below for some help on different web browsers.

Note: Not all browsers have the ability to print to PDF.

 

 

Export Survey to PDF with Google Chrome

 

After the print dialog opens in Chrome change the destination of the printer to "Save as PDF".  See the screenshots below:

To ensure that "Background graphics" is selected click "More settings".

Export Survey to PDF with Firefox

 

After the print dialog opens in Firefox select "Microsoft Print to PDF" (this example assumes a Windows operating system) in the drop down.  See the screenshot below:

To enable background graphics first select "Print" from the Firefox menu.  This will display a print preview of the whole web page.  Now click "Page Setup" and check "Print Background (colors & images)".  Save this setting and click "Print Survey" again from Discover.  See the screenshots below:

Export Survey to PDF with Safari

 

After the print dialog opens in Safari select "Save as PDF" in the drop down.  Make sure to check "Print backgrounds".  See the screenshot below:

Export Survey to PDF with Internet Explorer

 

After the print dialog opens in Internet Explorer change the printer to "Microsoft Print to PDF".  See the screenshot below:

Make sure background images are included.  Go to "Page setup" from Internet Explorer settings and check "Print Background Colors and Images".  See screenshots below:

Export Survey to PDF with Microsoft Edge

 

After the print dialog opens in Edge change the printer to "Microsoft Print to PDF".  Edge does not have the ability to print background graphics.  For this reason the PDF will not be optimal.  We recommend using a different browser.  See the screenshot below:
