Export survey to PDF

Use Export to PDF to create a clean, shareable version of your survey. PDFs are intended for review and documentation, such as sharing with stakeholders, clients, or professors, rather than for paper-based data collection.

To export:

1. Open a survey.
2. Open the Tools menu.
3. Select Export survey to PDF.

The PDF is generated and downloaded.

The export preserves your survey structure and question content so others can review it without needing access to Discover.

The export produces a letter-sized document of your survey. For the most accurate reference before exporting, view your survey in tablet size in Live preview.

Some wide questions, such as CBCs with many concepts or grids with many columns, may not fully fit within the page width. When this happens, content fades at the edge of the page, similar to how wide content appears in tablet preview.
